Constance, an attorney for more than twenty-five years, has practiced in law firms and as a general counsel. In addition to practicing law, she has served on the Board of Directors of BGLLC, a large private manufacturing company, and chaired its Governance and Ethics committees.  She also served on the Board of Directors of the Biophilic Institute, a non-profit corporation focusing on sustainability and environmental issues.

 

Constance has served as General Counsel of Schlumberger Industries, Inc, a subsidiary of Schlumberger Limited, a Fortune 100 corporation, and as Associate General Counsel of Schweitzer Mauduit International.  She has also practiced with Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York, New York and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Constance represents individuals and businesses in a wide array of corporate matters, including business formation and dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and board governance and compliance.

 

Aileen, an attorney for more than twenty-five years, has practiced in both the private sector and the government.  Prior to joining Cantrell Cohen, she served as counsel to two law firms, where she specialized in employment law and civil litigation. Aileen also was an attorney with Arent Fox in Washington, D.C. for twelve years, where she handled complex litigation matters. She also worked in the Office of the Legal Advisor of the U.S. Department of State, where she handled personnel and employment matters involving members of the Foreign Service and other Department employees.

 

Aileen represents individuals and businesses in a wide array of employment matters, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination claims, reductions in force, Family Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act claims, and disputes regarding the payment of wages, overtime and commissions.  She also advises clients on the negotiation and drafting of employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and severance packages.

 

Aileen also represents clients in civil litigation at the pretrial, trial and appellate stages in state and federal courts.
